Temporary traffic disruption at Broadway and Arbutus

Drivers are being warned about upcoming temporary lane closures and parking restrictions at Broadway and Arbutus.

The closures will be in place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday this week, as well as Friday, Aug. 29, while crews carry out geotechnical investigation work related to the Broadway Subway project. The B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is undertaking soil study work at Broadway and Arbutus to gather information about the future construction of the project.

The work will require the temporary closure of the eastbound left lane of West Broadway and the northbound right lane of Arbutus Street. Additionally, parking will be temporarily restricted along in the north lane of Arbutus Street, north of Broadway.
