The wildfire burning 13 kilometres east of Squamish near the Mamquam Forest Service Road is now 75 per cent contained, according to BC Wildfire Service.
"...crews are pushing into the cutblock to continue to progress through the hot areas. A 50-foot 'black line' (burned area) is creating a barrier on the north flank," reads a press release from BC Wildfire Service.
The fire began Sunday evening and reached a maximum size of 3.5 hectares.
