UPDATED: Man arrested after four people assaulted in Vancouver

Vancouver police have arrested a suspect after four separate attacks earlier this morning.

 Three stabbing victims are in hospital in serious condition.

The incidents happened between West Broadway and Cambie Street and Main Street and East 2nd Avenue.

Police were called to the intersection at West Broadway and Cambie Street just after 8:30 a.m., March 2.

Officers found a man who had been stabbed following an altercation.

According to police, the suspect fled eastbound to West Broadway and Yukon where a second victim was physically assaulted.

Not long afterwards, a third person was stabbed at Quebec and East 4th Avenue. A fourth victim was then stabbed at Main and East 2nd Avenue.

Police arrested a 33-year-old man nearby without incident.
