The 2017 provincial election in B.C. was about as close a race as possible. As the sun rose May 10, the final seat split between parties was still uncertain.  As of the Courier’s press deadline, these were the unofficial results for Vancouver supplied by Elections B.C.

VANCOUVER-FAIRVIEW

  • NDP: George Heyman — 13,958 or 53.64 per cent
  • Liberal: Gabe Garfinkel — 8,482 or 32.59 per cent
  • Green Party: Louise Boutin — 3,453 or 13.27 per cent

VANCOUVER-FALSE CREEK

  • Elected: Liberal: Sam Sullivan — 9,332 or 42.57 per cent
  • NDP: Morgane Oger — 8,772 or 40.01 per cent
  • Green Party: Bradley Shende — 3,448 or 15.73 per cent

VANCOUVER-FRASERVIEW

  • Elected: NDP: George Chow — 10,160 or 47.87 per cent
  • Liberal: Suzanne Anton — 9,171 votes or 43.21 per cent
