Vancouver police arrest suspect in Downtown Eastside stabbing

54-year-old Vancouver man was left with serious wounds after stabbing at Andy Livingstone Park

A 20-year-old man is in police custody following an alleged stabbing Monday afternoon at Andy Livingstone Park that left another man with serious injuries.

Vancouver police were called to the park just before 4:30 p.m. and found a 54-year-old Vancouver man suffering stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers arrested a suspect a short time later. He remains in custody and charges are pending.
