Vancouver's Granville Bridge re-opens after protest

Protesters shut down the bridge for several hours Wednesday afternoon

Vancouver’s Granville Street Bridge is now open to traffic.

Protesters shut down the bridge for several hours Wednesday afternoon, after marching through downtown Vancouver following a rally at B.C. Supreme Court.

Wednesday’s protest followed a four-day blockade at the Port of Vancouver. Protesters also blocked the intersection of Broadway and Cambie from Tuesday afternoon until early Wednesday morning.
