VIDEO: Vancouver’s random election ballot explained in two minutes

Names of 158 candidates will no longer be listed alphabetically when you vote

This election, Vancouver voters will be faced with a daunting ballot listing 158 candidates running for mayor, council, school board and park board.

Even more daunting, those names will be listed in a random order rather than alphabetically.
