Sgt. Frank Jang says charges have not been laid.

Surrey RCMP said in a statement that the victim was found by officers around 3 a.m., and died a short time later from apparent stab wounds.

The statement said the attack was believed to be targeted but Jang says further evidence is required before that can be confirmed.

He says a police dog led officers to the home where the suspect was arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
