BEAUTY RESCUE: SURVIVING THE FALL SEASON

Changing up your beauty routine from season to season is something that most people don’t do. We tend to assume that the products we use can withstand the weather we put it through.

Changing up your beauty routine from season to season is something that most people don’t do. We tend to assume that the products we use can withstand the weather we put it through. The truth is, you don’t have to change out your entire routine for a new one and there are some things we should do all season like moisturize or exfoliate (especially if you use a crème foundation). Here are some of my fall beauty tips:

1.     If you use a crème foundation and you know you’re not that thorough at washing your face, use a gentle exfoliant for fall to make sure that your foundation is cleaned off completely at the end of your day.

Ole Henriksen Walnut scrub

I recommend: Ole Henriksen’s Walnut Complexion Scrub

I use this once a week and it has never dried out my skin or made it feel irritated. A small amount is all you need. A container usually lasts me about a year.

2.     Use a night cream or serum. Why not let your product work it’s magic while you’re sleeping?

Resveratrol BE from Skinceuticals

I recommend: Resveratrol BE from Skinceuticals

This product uses a pure and stable compound that will add radiance, elasticity and density to your skin. (Definitely beats soaking in a tub of red wine to get the same effects).

3.     Don’t forget about your feet! It’s probably one of the most neglected beauty routine.

Amope pedi perfect electronic foot file

I recommend: Amope pedi perfect electronic foot file

This foot file is so easy to use it’s practically ready to go right out of the package. You don’t even have to soak your feet before using it!

4.     Get a good moisturizer that you can use on all parts of your body and try to stick with an all natural alternative.

Organic certified and fair trade approved pure shea butter from L’Occitane

I recommend: Organic certified and fair trade approved pure shea butter from L’Occitane.

If you’re a mom or pet owner you’ll get why I like this product. Not only is it natural and effective, it’s safe if ingested accidentally.
