Pictures posted on WeChat, a Chinese social media platform, show a white SUV embedded into the front window of the 7-Eleven store at No.3 and Blundell roads on Saturday.

One of the images posted on social media shows the window broken into several pieces, while others show grocery shelves fallen to the ground, with products spread out all over the place.

Yet another photo shows two ambulances at the scene after the accident took place.

A WeChat user commented that, “The weather is good recently, how could the driver smash into the store?”

The cause of the crash remains unclear. A male member of staff at the store told the Richmond News that there were no injuries, but he didn’t know the identity or sex of the driver.
