To the editor:
I’ve made it my business (some would say obsession) to follow Vancouver political coverage for many years. Mike Howell has been reporting tirelessly on the activity surrounding city hall for all that time.
While this has been a sleepy election season for news so far, Howell’s coverage has raised the bar for everyone else here. The questioning approach toward major city policies around housing the homeless and affordability measures has been balanced and thorough.
I hope that his peers in the media business take note.
