Re: Class Notes, "High school hoax," Jan. 11

Thank you for including Kurt Heinrich's positive comments about Sir Charles Tupper in your article. Before landing my permanent job at Tupper in 2004, I had the privilege of teaching at several schools here in Vancouver and abroad. While I enjoyed working at every school I landed at, none compares to Tupper for a simple reason: our code of conduct ROARS (respect, ownership, attitude, responsibility and safety) that permeates every aspect of our pedagogy and community. Virtually anyone who has ever visited Tupper has complimented our school for being welcoming, respectful, and diverse. For these reasons, we will maintain our reputation as being a place where students come to learn not as an anonymous number but instead as a valued member of our Tupper family.
