Fall 2015 beauty trends: Berry red lips and fresh face

Seasonal change is always a great time to switch things up a little. Whether it’s a touch of red for lips or a soft blush to brighten things up, there’s a definite direction of boldness for fall beauty trends.

Seasonal change is always a great time to switch things up a little. Whether it’s a touch of red for lips or a soft blush to brighten things up, there’s a definite direction of boldness for fall beauty trends. Straight from New York Fashion Week runways included the side pinned ponytail and a natural fresh faced look. If you’re a fan of red lipstick like me, you’ll be happy to know that red lips are also moving into fall for beauty trends.

As always, balance is key and black eyeliner was definitely prominent on the runway with a fresh face. While contouring has been popular in the past, this season is all about moving forward and embracing the pink blush. Playing on the fresh face and natural theme is soft waves for fall (the more natural the better). Models for the fall collection were walking the runway in their natural hair texture with just a bit of product without messing around with straighteners or curlers.

If you’re looking to try something new other than the classic red or blush pink, try a variation of shades within that color spectrum. Instead of red, try a berry or cranberry red shade. If you’re into blush pink, try a neutral with hints of pink in it.

Here are a few beauty products that will get you well on the way to a fall look:

1. Saint Cosmetic's pink blush and lipstick. Favorite lip shade to try: Lavender on a prayer lipstick which has a berry red hue.

4. Mythic Oil for hair (L'Oreal Paris) and gold clasp (H&M): Keeping your hair healthy and hydrated is key especially after styling it. Apply the Mythic on the lower half of your hair. For a perfect fall ponytail, the gold clasp from H&M is the perfect hair accessory to complete the look.
