Transit police have arrested a 33-year-old man suspected of exposing himself to a female passenger on SkyTrain in April.

Transit police are looking for help finding a man who allegedly flashed his genitals at a female SkyTrain passenger in April.

The suspect cruised trains between Burnaby and Vancouver for about an hour on April 29, according to a recent transit police press release.

At approximately 10 a.m., a woman sitting on one of the trains noticed a man looming uncomfortably close to her.

When she looked toward him, she noticed his erect penis and testicles exposed over the waistline of his sweatpants, only a foot away from her face, police said.

The passenger snuck a photo, which she later provided to police.

Security video revealed the man had first boarded a train at the Commercial-Broadway station and then spent nearly an hour riding trains between the Main Street and Edmonds stations.

He finally left SkyTrain at the Joyce station.

The suspect is described as a darker skinned man, between 25 and 30 years old, five-foot-nine and about 160 pounds. He has brown hair, a patchy goatee and brown eyes.

At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing glasses, a black hoodie, black sweat pants with a white drawstring, white headphones and carrying a black-and-grey backpack.

“Transit Police are very concerned by the actions of this suspect,” states the release.

Anyone who saw the incident or has information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Metro Vancouver Transit Police tip line at 604.516.7419 or text 87.77.77. Refer to file number 2019-7149.
