Going online to shop has always been a part of my routine when it comes to finding great items that aren’t available in my area. It was a practical choice for me when I first started. I hated going outside when it rained but didn’t want it to stop me from getting my dose of retail therapy. I soon found out that finding your size online can also be easier than what’s available in store. Online stores also often give discounts simply for shopping online which is a great advantage.
Local boutique Rebecca Bree has caught onto the demand to have their items available for a growing online customer base. “Even though my store is in Kitsilano, some people find it’s a little out of their way to come in and would rather shop in the comfort of their own home”, says Rebecca Rawlinson who is the owner of the boutique. Rawlinson has worked with luxury designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Dolce and Gabbana and luxury retailer Holt Renfrew. When it comes to fashion, there’s no doubt that Rawlinson has a critical eye for style.

The online store will offer selected items from the store and will soon expand to include all items. Shoppers can expect to find brands online which are usually carried in the store such as Tibi, Derek Lam, Nonoo and Smythe Les Vestes. To celebrate the online launch, shoppers will also receive free shipping till November 6th. “I hope to one day have a shopping truck much like Net-a-porter around town to deliver fashion to our customer. I would be such a fun concept to bring to Vancouver”, says Rawlinson.
Expect a dose of Parisian inspired fashion and a contemporary edge of New York chic within the boutique. Here are some of our favorite from the site:
