When it comes to first impressions, it always counts. How someone is dressed gives you an indication of how they want to present themselves to the world. No look is more classic than the suit. It's been reinvented throughout time for men and brought back more recently as a trend for women. A man in a suit can evoke many thoughts in people's mind. It can signal that perhaps he's on his way to something important or maybe just an innate appreciated for a polished look.

While we can all appreciate a classic suit (case in point: Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black) or even Brad Goreski's twist on suiting, it can be a tedious to find the one that fits just right. There's also so many parts to a suit that can leave anyone overwhelmed. Local suiting experts Indochino have claimed a home in Railtown to address suiting fears to make it as painless as possible. The traveling tailor as they're called can customize a suit to fit online using your measurements. If you prefer the old fashion way of measure to fit suiting, you can also stop by their location here in Vancouver. The finished product can be shipped to you anywhere in the world within 4 weeks on average.

A suit can be more versatile than you think. To give us some tips on menswear and suiting advice, we went straight to Vancouverite Viranlly Liemena whose styling has turned heads (and left us wondering just how he does it). Currently the merchant for Indochino and the feature blogger for their site, he has also worked for Club Monaco and Holt Renfrew.

Q: A suit can be more versatile than people think. How can you wear a suit from casual to formal?

A: The feel of the suit depends highly on what you wear with it. For casual settings, you can wear an oxford buttoned down shirt, plaid shirt, or even a t-shirt! Switching from silk ties to knit ties, and from dress shoes to loafers or sneakers are also a go to! For dressier occasion, of course go with finer shirts, silk ties or bow ties, and dressier leather shoes.

Q: What are some key element that men should remember when putting together a look?

A:One's look has to be appropriate for any given occasion that he's going to. Colors, Fabrics, Accessories are usually the easiest variable to control when putting together a look. I mean, you wouldn't want to wear a brown tweed suit to a summer weddings in Mexico, right?

Q: You always seem so pulled together. What is your daily regiment when you're getting ready?

A:I have no certain regiment when it comes to putting together an outfit, really. Most of the time i pick one item that i really really want to wear that day and build my outfit around it.

Q: Who do you think is the best dressed man we can all take a lead from in the industry?

A: Nick Wooster for sure, and I admire Thom Browne and Tom Ford for the way they define menswear.
