I’ve never been the type of girl who adored a lengthy hair routine. Most days, I take under 20 minutes to get ready. I’m always looking for great shortcuts when it comes to a beauty regiment. If there’s a chance of sneaking in a couple more minutes of sleep in the morning, I’m all about that. I’ve learned that a chic low chignon takes about 4 minutes to complete and ballerina buns are flattering for any girl on the go.

It’s my belief that people should visit their hair stylist once every season to prep your hair for what the climate demands. Luckily, if you haven’t had time to hit the salon, we’ve asked hair expert Marc Riese from La Biosthetique to give us some tips for great hair this summer. We also like to demystify urban hair myths that we’ve all probably heard so you won’t have to waste your time on cracking an egg on your head if you don’t have to.
