TRENDS FROM 2014 TO BRING INTO THE NEW YEAR

We can all probably agree that some things are better left behind. As we head steadily into 2015, I’m happy to see some things go like mod boots, overalls or dresses over pants (which made a comeback in 2014) gone like the wind.
2014 trends to bring into 2015

We can all probably agree that some things are better left behind. As we head steadily into 2015, I’m happy to see some things go like mod boots, overalls or dresses over pants (which made a comeback in 2014) gone like the wind.

There were also some star moments in fashion to hang on to. My favorite in particular was denim (frayed, skinny, dark or light) and the play on bringing casual into a more dressy light. Also, a trend that surprised me which I hope would carry onto the new year is the turtleneck. There are great ways to bring this clothing piece into a more modern light and we definitely saw this in 2014.

For 2015, be creative and dare to mix a little old into new. We’ll be seeing a lot a floral prints and a heavily inspired Cochella theme to fashion. There’s a sense of ease and playfulness for 2015 designs so look out for that if you’re planning ahead.
