WANT APOTHECARY OPENS IN VANCOUVER AND LEAVES US WANTING MORE

There’s a new store in town and everything in it will definitely be on every fashion girl and guy’s “want” list.

There’s a new store in town and everything in it will definitely be on every fashion girl and guy’s “want” list. WANT Apothecary dazzled my eye during the store opening on August 7th with a modernized twist on a classic apothecary feel to the store (champagne was even served in test tubes). Interior designer Maria Rosa di Ioia used aged herringbone floors to elevate the feel of a warm environment. WANT Apothecary may be the new kid on our block but they’re certainly not new on the fashion scene since they also have locations in Montreal and Toronto.

Byron and Dexter Peart who are also designers for their WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie leather goods brand carefully edited the collection in WANT Apothecary. They were also recently featured in Vogue for their handbags.

The first thing I noticed walking into the store are the details when it comes to curating the products in their store. It was incredibly difficult to find a piece that I didn’t want to bring home. There was just the right amount of shoes, clothes, bags and beauty care products which didn’t make you feel overwhelmed. WANT Apothecary currently carries brand such as Acne, Filippa K, Nudie Jeans, Arc'teryx Veilance, Maison Kitsuné and WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie.
