You say you're not a bandwagon Raptors fan. Put your money where your mouth is

So, you’re a Metro Vancouverite and you say you’re not jumping on the Toronto Raptors bandwagon. You swear you’re a diehard fan not just cheering now to make up for the Vancouver Canucks stinking up the joint.

So, you’re a Metro Vancouverite and you say you’re not jumping on the Toronto Raptors bandwagon.

You swear you’re a diehard fan not just cheering now to make up for the Vancouver Canucks stinking up the joint.

Well, put your money where your mouth is.

The B.C. Lottery Corporation’s PlayNow.com site is promoting betting on the Raptors battling the Golden State Warriors, who are eyeing their fourth NBA title in five years.

“B.C. bettors are invited to get in on Raptors mania on PlayNow.com, where they can wager on everything from the series outcome, to the NBA Finals MVP and the series’ top scorer,” reads a news release. “The NBA has traditionally been a betting favourite on PlayNow.com. Last year, B.C. bettors placed more than half a million bets on the NBA, garnering a 33.5% betting share of the big four North American pro sports leagues. In recent days, PlayNow.com has seen a massive spike in bets on the Raptors to win it all, even though the betting favourite is for the Warriors to take the series in six games (5/2) and a Warriors win in five games (7/2) close behind. However, the Raptors have seemingly defied the odds at every turn this postseason and, at 11/2 odds, could also bring the championship home in seven games. Despite a Herculean effort from Kawhi Leonard in leading Toronto to the Finals, he checks in on PlayNow.com with the second best MVP odds (5/2) behind Steph Curry (4/6). However, when it comes to who will lead the series in scoring, it’s a toss-up between Leonard (even money) and Curry (3/4).”

So, there you have it. You believe in the Raptors. You’ve always believed in the Raptors. Now you can show just how much you believe in them.
