While there were a few days of heavy rainfall and storms last week, the local weather forecast looks decidedly better for the final week of September.
Fall may have officially arrived, but Environment Canada is predicting some very mild temperatures. Starting on Monday, September 24th, the forecast calls for slight fog followed by sunshine all day, with highs of 17°C in the afternoon.
On the following day, the sunny weather continues but the temperature increases by 1°C, and inland temperatures rise to 22°C. This same pattern continues on Wednesday, where temperatures reach 19°C on the coast and 22°C inland.
At the end of the week, however, the forecast calls for some very warm temperatures, with inland highs expecting to reach 24°C.
The weekend will continue to see clear, sunny skies, but the temperatures will begin to cool off.
In addition, the evenings are clear throughout the week; however, they will be quite cool, dropping to as low as 8°C. Luckily, because they are so clear, they will provide optimal viewing conditions for tonight's harvest moon.
