Vancouver Bantam 'B' Burrards win B.C. box lacrosse championship

The Vancouver Bantam B Burrards won the B.C. box lacrosse championship in a close decision July 21 at the Ladner Leisure Centre. The Burrards defeated Langley 7-6.

The Vancouver Bantam B Burrards won the B.C. box lacrosse championship in a close decision July 21 at the Ladner Leisure Centre. The Burrards defeated Langley 7-6.

The Vancouver Minor Lacrosse team was led by captain Liam OConnor who lifted the Burrards with six goals in a 12-1 semifinal win over North Delta.

Corvin Mack was named to the all-star team and Dimitri Cunning received the fair play award.

The Burrards championship came on the heels of another win for the club. The Pee Wee C team won a provincial title of their own July 14 in Kamloops.
