The newest residential community on the Point Grey peninsula is the award-winning Wesbrook Village. Featuring low-rise and high-rise buildings, Wesbrook Village is designed to take advantage of its natural surroundings, forest trails, and fabulous ocean views.
Wesbrook Village was designed with community living in mind. All residential buildings are within walking distance to the more than 25 shops and professional services.
"At Wesbrook Village, you can have a healthy, active lifestyle," says Christine Chan, Director of Marketing. "We're located on the edge of Pacific Spirit Park with all its trails and natural beauty, plus we have parks and walkable green streets for everyone to enjoy."
There are lots of bike racks and bike rentals, hot yoga, and a fitness centre. The Running Room hosts free running and walking clinics on a weekly basis.
"Wesbrook Village has a diversity of residents from all walks of life and all ages," Christine says. "Tapestry is an independent living residence for seniors, and we have condos and townhomes by renowned developers Adera and Polygon. The Wesbrook Community Centre offers a variety of high quality programs for kids and adults and there are four playgrounds in Wesbrook, making Wesbrook Village an ideal place to raise children."
"We've won awards for the design of our community," Christine says.
The planned community was designed to be aesthetically pleasing in addition to promoting sustainability and respect for the environment.
"People are very proud to live here," Christine says. "We hear that all the time. At this time we have about 3,800 residents, so we're small enough that many of our shop owners know their customers by name. While the finished design calls for up to 12,500 residents, Wesbrook will still have that small community feel."
