A lifelong resident of Greater Vancouver and a dedicated community volunteer, Casey Crawford is running for Park Board Commissioner in the November municipal election.

Crawford actively gives back to his city, particularly in the areas of health and sports. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for the Stroke Recovery Association of BC and a player agent with Little Mountain Baseball.

He has been involved in numerous local organizations, including the Canadian Diabetes Association, Quilchena Elementary School Parent Advisory Council, where he served as its chair, and the University of British Columbia’s Crane Library.

Crawford has worked in retail, telecommunications, and media and publishing. Currently, he is a sales and marketing project manager with a Vancouver media firm.

Crawford spends his free time with his wife and two sons who are all keen athletes who use Vancouver’s facilities to play soccer, baseball, and field hockey, and to cycle on the city’s bike routes.

A graduate of Simon Fraser University, Crawford and his family live in Vancouver’s Oakridge neighbourhood.
