“More so than ever, regardless of the outcome tonight, I can’t say enough about how much I want to continue this,” he said.

The crowded interrupted his speech, chanting “RJ! RJ! RJ!”

Aquino emphasized that this was just the beginning for OneCity. “Tonight we’re celebrating how far we’ve come in so short of a time,” he said. “We wanted to bring a political home for people who are being left out.”

As of last count, the OneCity council candidate was in 22nd place with 29983 votes.
